Scuba Diving
Description
Scuba Diving is a Minecraft mini-game map with an ocean theme. It mixes Dropper(1) environments with various game modes such as the famous Thimble(2) or base jump modes called “Palm Swim” and “Life Buoy”. These last two modes use respectively elytra and levitation effects in order to reach beacons granting points to the player. This project was motivated by Greenpeace France to be used as a basis for Twitch streams during their #GreenGamingTour event!

(1) Dropper : Famous Minecraft game mode consisting of controlled falls in environments built on a vertical axis, ending up in small bodies of water.
(2) Thimble: A game mode in Minecraft, even more famous than Dropper, consisting of several players taking turns jumping into a pool of water. The spot where players fall is replaced with colored wools, reducing the amount of water available to break the fall. Players who crash into the wool blocks are eliminated. Those who make a “thimble” – a dive on a 1 block by 1 block area of water – gain a bonus life.
