Pack Translator

The PackTranslator is a program that converts a Minecraft resource pack from one version of the game to another, as long as they are between 1.6.1 and the current version of the game.

The program is still in its infancy, bugs are certainly present. If you encounter them, feel free to report them to its creators: PixiGeko and Laizo on their Discord server, or by sending them a return using the “Make a Return” tab present in the program!

Almost complete support!

No need to worry about file names, whether for items, blocks, features or even folders, the software will be busy modifying them based on the versions chosen for conversion.
In addition, language ^files(1), te^mplates(1), bloc^kstates(1) and pack.mcmeta files can also be updated!

A few more features

With this program you can also resize or divide textures that require these changes, or load Optifine(1) files (.properties⁾ and replace their digital IDs with their equivalent in nominal IDs.
You’ll also be able to generate a file that contains all the changes the program doesn’t make during a normal conversion (conversion in the PT- General tab).
You’ll also have access to logs, telling you what changes have been made for each file.
If you’re wondering what the role of each part of the program is, there’s a “Documentation” tab in it, you’ll certainly find answers.

All customizable!

You’ll be able to select which changes to apply to your pack, choose the language, theme, or version selected by default when the program is launched. You can also choose to let the program notify you when a new version is available.

Small warning

Beta features are features that are theoretically functional but can still cause problems when converting the pack. Indeed, many factors come into play, especially for the conversion of models and blockstates. As a result, some of them may not be adequately updated.
We therefore recommend that you back up your pack if you plan to use any of these features.
The creators of the program (PixiGeko and Laizo) cannot be held responsible for any problems when using one of its features without backing up your pack.
